Sliplining

During sliplining operations, a new, smaller diameter pipe is inserted into the larger diameter old pipe. When capacity is not an issue, sliplining offers a fast and economical solution to pipeline rehabilitation. The new pipe is typically HDPE and depending on the specific project and conditions, it can be pushed inside of the old pipe using various pieces of equipment or pulled through using a winch.

TV & Cleaning

Video taping an existing line is used at two stages of a project. Before any work is done, video taping shows the condition of an the main or service lateral. The information obtained during video taping is extremely valuable. based on that information the problem can be identified and the appropriate solution can be chosen. In addition, video taping after work has been completed can help determine if the problem has actually been corrected. Specially designed cameras on remote control vehicles are used during the video inspection process.
